A consumer catalogue should reflect what a shopper can pick up, not every way a warehouse can pack it. That is why Seasons keeps genuine consumer sizes while consolidating inner cases, outer cases and full-case configurations.
For example, 320 ml and 800 ml vinegar bottles remain distinct because the pack in the shopper’s hand is different. A 12-pack and a 4-by-12 trade configuration of the same 125 ml oil do not become two consumer product pages.
The result is a cleaner catalogue, more accurate search and fewer duplicate pages. Trade packing information can still be supplied to retailers through the trade enquiry route without confusing the consumer range.
